A clean slate installation happens when there is no imported data used to create the eZmax database.
Before creating the database, eZmax will request the current general ledger chart of accounts. We will also request additional financial information such as:
- Trial balance from last full month
- Confirmation all bank reconciliations for all accounts are up to date
- Number of open transactions (deals)
- List of open of open transaction (deals) with a trust deposit
- Address of transaction, amount paid, date paid
- List of open accounts receivable
- List of open account payable
- List of outstanding cheques
Finally, we will request company information and other miscellaneous information. All the information provided will become the foundation of the new eZmax database.
Training will begin once the database is ready. Training encompasses more than learning how to use eZmax. It will also include data entry, data validation and learning. For example, the trainer will show the user how to enter an agent. Then the user will be required to enter all of their agents into the database. While entering the agent information, the data will need to be validated.
⚠️When using the Clean Slate approach, it is crucial to remember that clients will be required to enter all their open transactions into the system.
